Frequently Asked Questions
For small Maltese bathrooms, a frameless walk-in shower with a low-profile stone resin tray is often the best solution. Removing the shower door and using a fixed glass screen maximises the sense of space. A linear drain along one wall eliminates the shower tray lip entirely for the most seamless result.
Yes. WaterArt Concepts supplies shower trays that can be cut to fit non-standard angles and dimensions — a solution developed for Malta's older stone buildings where rooms rarely have perfectly square corners. Our showroom team can advise on the right tray for your dimensions.
A rain shower is an overhead shower head designed to simulate falling rain through a large-diameter, low-pressure spray. Rain showers can be ceiling-mounted (requiring a water supply through the ceiling) or wall-arm-mounted. WaterArt Concepts supplies both types for Malta's residential and hotel projects.
The most common shower tray sizes in Malta are 80x80cm, 90x90cm, 80x120cm and 90x140cm or larger for walk-in showers. WaterArt Concepts stocks a wide range and can advise on the best fit for your bathroom dimensions.
A shower cubicle is fully enclosed with doors on all sides and a fixed tray. A walk-in shower is open or partially open — typically with one or two fixed glass panels and no door — relying on the shower area being large enough for water not to escape. Walk-in showers are more contemporary and easier to clean.
Yes. WaterArt Concepts supplies intelligent shower systems including thermostatic controls, push-button diverters and programmable temperature settings. These allow multiple outlets — overhead, handset, body jets — to be controlled independently from a single digital interface.
